My Profile

I am a mom of 4 and I have an amazing husband. I just moved to Middleton from Utah this year. I have had a few people ask me my resume and how I got started in Zumba..... so here is my story.

I have struggled with having children on and off again for 6 years. Through many miscarriages, fertility drugs and the death of my 3rd child I found myself depressed a lot. As I have struggled getting pregnant again I just needed something else that would bring joy back into my life. Then I found Zumba. It started for me as a social event. I was going with a group of friends. Not only did I find friendship there, (and get a great workout), I also found myself. I found myself singing and dancing all the time and it gave me something to look forward to each week. Through Zumba I taught myself to let go and dance my troubles away! I became an instructor in hopes of making a difference for others as well. To bring smiles and laughter into other's lives.... just as it did for me!

I started teaching in at the Orem Fitness Center and then added on other jobs. Before we moved I was VERY busy teaching. I taught doubles, and was teaching 5 times a week including American Fork Fitness Center, and Cedar Hills Rec center as well. I then got certified to teach Hip Hop HUSTLE! Which is a lot like Zumba but with all American music and you learn a routine at the end. The hardest part about moving away was saying goodbye to my students! Now I am here in Middleton.... and I am SO excited to get to know all of you so we can work/party together!
